Surviving Mom Life: Real Talk — Motherhood Edition
Because loving your kids and needing a break can both be true.
Motherhood is beautiful. It's rewarding. It's also overstimulating, exhausting, and occasionally makes you wonder when you last finished an entire thought without someone yelling "MOM!"
And while we love our little humans more than anything, sometimes we need a space where we can talk about what we're going through.
Welcome to Real Talk: Motherhood Edition, an intimate, in-person conversation hosted by Surviving Mom Life at Jamison & Bexley.
No parenting experts. No picture-perfect expectations. No pretending we've got everything figured out.
Just moms coming together to have the conversations we don't always get to have.
Let's Talk About the Stuff We Don't Always Say Out Loud.
The mental load. The mom guilt. The invisible responsibilities. The identity shifts. The relationships. The exhaustion.
And yes, the moments when you genuinely question whether these children have lost their ever-loving minds.
We're making space for all of it.
During this guided conversation, we'll explore:
-
The Invisible Load: Why does it feel like we're responsible for remembering everything?
-
The Woman Behind the Mom: Who are we outside of motherhood, and how do we reconnect with ourselves?
-
The Support We Deserve: What do we actually need, and why is asking for help sometimes so difficult?
You don't need to have the answers. You don't even have to share if you're not comfortable.
Sometimes just being in a room with women who understand is enough.

A Little Note From Your Host
Hey, I'm Jen!
I'm a mom, entrepreneur, the woman behind Jamison & Bexley, and the voice behind Surviving Mom Life.
I started Surviving Mom Life because motherhood isn't always the beautifully curated experience we see online.
Sometimes it's messy. Sometimes it's lonely. Sometimes it's hilarious. And sometimes we're just trying to make it to bedtime without losing our minds.
I wanted to take those conversations beyond the blog and create a space where we could actually sit together, connect, and remind ourselves that we're not navigating this whole motherhood thing alone.
I'm not here to tell anyone how to parent. I'm figuring things out right alongside you.
So grab a seat. Let's talk.
Your Village Might Be One Conversation Away.
Whether you're navigating the newborn stage, toddler chaos, school-age drama, or somewhere in between, we'd love to have you.
Come as you are. Share what you feel comfortable sharing. Leave knowing you're not the only one figuring it out as you go.
This is a peer conversation and community gathering, not a therapy session or professional parenting workshop. Participation in discussions is always optional.
