When it comes to kids, self-expression is everything. Kids love exploring, discovering, and wearing what makes them feel comfortable. Yet, so often, we see clothing pushing them into boxes: pink for girls, blue for boys, trucks versus butterflies. At Jamison & Bexley, we’re rewriting the rulebook, celebrating individuality over stereotypes. Here’s why we believe in gender-neutral clothing and how it empowers children to be… just who they want to be.

We made a pivot in the company slowly over the years but we really didn't talk about why.  We started pivoting to be exclusively a gender neutral children's brand but as we have started focusing on that, we realized that we were also healing the little girl in side who was forced to dress one way to be seen as "a girl" or "pretty".  Why are we putting such a heavy burden on what our little ones wear?  Why is it that in order to be a "girl" you must love pink, glitter and makeup.  And to be a boy you have to be rough, love all things monster trucks and not show any weakness or tears.  Lets break down that ridiculousness and explore the gender norms society puts on us and how we are trying to break the norm.
