Why We’re Not a 6-Figure Company (Yet)—And That’s Okay

Let’s be real—Jamison & Bexley could be a six-figure business by now.  We're unique, we have amazing product, we've been featured on tv 3 times! I'm lowkey a local celebrity (per these local mom groups) But you know why it’s not? Because I refuse to sell my soul for it. I choose motherhood. Every. Single. Time.

I’m not out here buying followers, pushing gimmicky nonsense, or pretending to be something I’m not just to run up a bag. That’s not me. That’s not my brand. And honestly, if that’s what it takes? Keep it. I built this business to fit my life, not the other way around.

Pregnant owner in front of green tree

When I got pregnant with my third, something in me shifted. With my first two, I was deep in the hustle—so deep that I missed moments I’ll never get back. Late nights, burnout, saying yes to things I didn’t even want—all because I thought that’s what I had to do to succeed. And for what? To realize I was watching my kids grow up through my inbox? Nah.

So this time, I did something wild—I hit pause. I worked less. I turned down opportunities. I let emails collect dust. Business took a backseat, and guess what? I lowkey liked it there for a bit. For the first time, I was fully present parent.  Was able to do things with my two oldest kids and make memories.  Was able to sit on the couch, be lazy and grow a baby with no regrets and that felt better than any revenue milestone ever could.

But now? BAAAABE - Oh, now I’m back. The fire is lit. 🔥 The goals? Bigger. The vision? Clearer. The drive? Unmatched. I’m coming for everything I’ve worked for. But—and this is a big but—if my kids need me, they will always come first. Period.

Because here’s the thing: Jamison & Bexley isn’t just a brand. It’s a piece of my life. It’s built for real families, real kids, and real parents trying to balance it all without losing themselves. I know my journey isn’t the fastest, but it’s authentic. It’s intentional. And when we do hit those six figures? It’ll mean so much more, because we got there with integrity, not shortcuts.

So here’s to the slow burn. To motherhood and ambition coexisting. To proving that success doesn’t have to come at the expense of what matters most. And when we finally hit that six-figure mark? Just know—we did it the right way. 💛
