The real tea on how i’ve adjusted to the jump from 2 to 3 kids

The real tea on how i’ve adjusted to the jump from 2 to 3 kids

Having three children has brought new levels of complexity and challenges to my life. With two kids, it was easier to divide and conquer, but with the arrival of our third child, everything changed. As the primary source of nourishment for my baby, I find myself constantly meeting his needs. Balancing the needs of my other two children, one with anxiety and the other on the autism spectrum, adds an extra layer of responsibility. Some days, it feels like I'm falling short and struggling to take care of everyone while maintaining my own well-being. This journey has taught me the importance of seeking support and practicing self-care. It's a daily battle, but I'm determined to navigate motherhood with love and resilience, knowing that I can't pour from an empty cup.

Things you should never say to a woman who is trying to conceive a child or is pregnant and other insensitive things women have been told with the “best intentions”

Things you should never say to a woman who is trying to conceive a child or is pregnant and other insensitive things women have been told with the “best intentions”

There is this saying that was super popular when I was growing up “sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt me”.   As I grew older I have determined that to be an absolute LIE.  As I sit here pregnant with my 4th child [my first passed due to stillbirth] I reflect on the things that have been said to me over the last 13 years. Whether I was trying to conceive, already pregnant, post pregnancy or after the loss of my child.  I have also asked this question in a mom group that I am in and got their input and there have been a lot of repeated things said to women that are extremely offensive but are said with “the best intentions”.
